Adrienne and Nick
Our family is originally from South Africa where sports are a huge part of your lifestyle. We believe in teaching the basics from a very young age and making the sport fun.
I (Adrienne) was a former D1 Collegiate field hockey player. Nick, my dad, grew up playing rugby at the highest level, where he coached and captained the University and State teams. After immigrating to the US, Nick took up field hockey when I was in high school. He and I played competitively together on a COED Club Team for years. Nick coached and played with top international players at the Spirit Eagles Hockey Club.
I began playing field hockey in 6th grade. After being a competitive gymnast since the age of 6, I started to crave being a part of a team and transitioned into middle school field hockey. During my middle school years, I was coached by the very well respected and loved, Coach John Keating (Harding Township School). I bring his coaching style with me on my coaching journey. I went on to achieve state and school scoring records. I still holds the Mountain Lakes High School (NJ) scoring record of all time. (since the mid 1990's. I was also a leading scorer for the Mountain Lakes High School Lacrosse team. I went on to play D1 field hockey. My passion and approach to coaching comes from my love for sports, and both my positive and negative experiences along the way. I take my job very seriously as I know how much difference a coach can make on an athlete's path in life!
Our Facilities
We have top-notch facilities to accommodate a year round program. Our outdoor clinics in the fall and spring are played at the Mtn Lakes turf field in Mtn Lakes, NJ 07046. 51 Glen Road in Mtn Lakes. We have everything you need to stay on top of your game. Depending on our needs and group sizes, we rotate to a few different indoor facilities.
